Found this neat looking glass object and 25 bottles in a backyard dig to install another septic at my house. It kinda resembles a lightning rod ball with the flared open end but not on the other side. The top side has a solid post with side tabs. I can picture this top having a metal pointed cap that would screw on and was held on by the glass tabs. I can't belive it didn't get broke. Very cool design. Any thoughts are welcome. UPDATE I have had a few emails stating this is a piece to a oil lamp. I will never recover the rest but this part was a cool find. Thanks for all who replied.
