One of about 15 poles I have around my yard with functional openwire for piping music outside from my tape deck in the house; for operating my outdoor extension phone (who needs a cellphone in their backyard?!); a few wires for an intercom circuit connecting to the house and two wires for the low voltage outdoor lighting system.

Several unforgiving, punishing wind storms (a gust on October 27 was at least 100 mph) since last Fall raised havoc with my "grid" with a lot of damage. Trees down all over the place but none hit my car or house, very fortunately! Outside plant repairs will begin in the spring and I will share a few photos of the restoration efforts with you. The photos you are seeing here tonight is what survived.
