Local electric distribution circuits are on the longer crossarms on top with an incandescent street light having a glass acorn globe. And a fire alarm circuit on the shorter 4-pin crossarm on the pole in the background. The electric utility company serving Providence and most of RI was the Narragansett Electric Company. Like their sister company, Massachusetts Electric, these companies exclusively used creosoted crossarms with steel pins hammered into their crossarms' holes, commencing in the mid to later 1920s. These pins had no threads along their lower shanks for mounting them. They made for a really tight fit! This was standard construction with them until around 1960.

PS. The Flying A Gasoline brand became Getty around 1970.
