Anyone familiar with CSX's Indiana Subdivision knows it is a time capsule of old signals, uncommon crossing equipment, and working signal wire. Granted, there is little to no train traffic on the majority of this once busy mainline. No doubt it is certainly neat to see and shoot, even if only armed with a cell phone on a cloudy day. This pole stands at Montgomery, Indiana, still adorned with glass installed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. OK, the Porter may have been planted in the CSX years, but don't be distracted by the less attractive plastic.
