This old Ohio Brass insulator has been painted gold specifically for the 1972 National Insulator show which was held in Kansas City, Missouri in July. It is marked as such and is also marked No. 92 (not sure how many were made, possibly only 100). There is some wear on the piece unfortunately, mostly on the corners and edges (gold has wore off), but the stamping on it commemorating the event is perfectly legible. An unusual piece as I've never see one before. Will make a great addition to your collection! Take it for $25 + shipping in the lower 48. PayPal F&F please!
