AWESOME!! This CD 156.1 base embossed AM INSULATOR CO SEP 13 1881 in a sparkling light blue color is as perfect as an insulator gets. Added bonus is a stream of smoke from the top of the dome deep into the skirt. The only flaw I can see is a tiny open bubble on the base between the E and P. but does not effect the embossing. I think a collector would be hard pressed to find a nicer example of this particular insulator. Price guide is a bit conservative on this one. Asking $80.00 plus actual shipping cost.
