After nearly 40 years in hiding, Galloway's Insulator Root popped up on eBay in early 2021. Fearing it's disappearance once more, I bid on the one-of-a-kind item and won it. I then flew to Kentucky and met the owner to pick it up. My intent was to make it visible to the collecting community. I did just that at the 2021 National in Farmington, NM and I will do it once more at the Mid-Ohio Show in Springfield, OH 2021.

This item has a very long history. It is on the cover of Drip Points April 2021 edition with an associated article. It is also in the 3rd (1975) and 4th (1976) editions of Milholland's "Most About Glass Insulators".

I simply do not have a safe place to display it in my new Florida home. I would like to see someone else enjoy it. Hopefully someone who will bring it out into the public eye every now and then. Make sure it goes to a good home when/if they ever sell it.

Asking $1,700 as that's the price I purchased it for with my winning bid. Free delivery at Springfield or pickup in Sarasota, FL after the show. I will also be taking I-75 South back to Florida if you're along the way during my return trip.
