This insulator, though repaired, is a wonderful display piece . The base is fractured in several large pieces as is the top platter. The core, collar, and crown are not damaged and intact . The top has one small triangle that is filled but it is otherwise complete original porcelain .The base has no resin repairs. It is all glass . Amazingly the spout is mint and not chipped . The top rim is also very clean with only a few small nicks . It has marking 4-1 and is dated DEC 4 1900. This piece was found on the Colgate line in the SF Bay area several years ago. SOLD .
