The wide towers carry many 66kv circuits from a generation facility in Long Beach owned by Southern California Edison. And the taller lattice ones support 115kv circuits. From their generation point these lines (which are stretched many miles) are later separated for sub-transmission (still, at 66kv); often seen along many Los Angeles vicinity streets. These towers still stand and provide electricity to many LA Basin communities.
