Sadly Jasper had to be put down this past Tuesday. We got Jasper 3 years ago when he was 9 years old. His original owner died suddenly of a heart attack and his wife could no longer afford to keep any pets so my mother adopted him.

Last December we noticed Jasper had a cancerous growth in his groin area and we had it surgically removed in January. A few months later it grew back even worse and soon after smaller multiple growths started to show up. There was really nothing we could do for him other than having him on pain killers the last week of his life. He was in pretty good spirits right up till the end though.

He was part Shih Tzu and part Poodle or Shih Poo
