I've had this Carnival Hemingray-42 [070] since 2003, but it's time to go. It has the usual Hemingray coating pattern where it was sprayed upwards at an angle from below, so it's got a nice mirror marigold skirt, but less as it goes up: very light on the dome sides and none at all on the dome top. Condition is excellent with only a small bullseye and a peck on the dome (visible in pics), and some tiny rough spots here and there on the upper wire ridge (showing the clear glass underneath). Base and inner skirt are mint. This was hard to photograph. First pic shows it next to a clear Armstrong for color comparison; second pic is the same piece in various lighting conditions. Looking at the pics the next day I'd say the first comparison pic shows the color/density the best. $600 plus shipping from 96097. |
