Here's a rarely seen large porcelain battery rest insulator from France that was made to go with the large Tudor and stars logo battery rest [id=626822154]. Never seen a base for this king size battery rest before now. Measures 7 1/4" base width x 2 1/4" tall x 6 3/16" top width. The large circular area on the top piece was made to fit perfectly together with this base piece for large battery accumulators that were used on French Railways.

Excellent condition with only small scratch seen in photo and some light use marks. Base is stained (oxidized?) probably from battery acid.
