In the spring of 2003 a tornado came threw DeSoto. Ameren UE workers from St. Louis county were to travel down there to fix power. I went with them. Since most of everything was gone or damages, Ameren UE had 2 full trailers brought in filled with wire, cross arms, insulators, rubber chickens, and tools. Separate trailers brought poles and transformers were brought several days later. This is in a WalMart parking lot. About 35 Ameren UE trucks there from all over MO.
