In the spring of 2003 a tornado came threw DeSoto. Ameren UE workers from St. Louis county were to travel down there to fix power. I went with them, i found poles on the ground every where. i took most of the insulators. They were only deadends and spools, sadly we saw people just sitting on the front lawn crying for they now longer had a home to be in or half of it was gone.
