Here are two Hemingray CD 154s one with a smooth base and the other with sharp drip points. Within the smooth base category the base of the insulator can be flat, round or beveled. Within the sharp drip point category the drip points can be long, medium and small. Some insulators have a combination of both sharp and round drip points.
