A survivor of the Civil War. This CD 701.6 presents it self very well for being well over 150 years old. It's heavy, almost two pounds and has very dense glass. I would call its color green blackglass. There is damage which will show clearly in the second photo that I post. The most obvious is the chip from the base up into the skirt. The less obvious is a small shallow chip right along the edge of the top. You can see that right about the skirt chip. Now third and last is the least obvious fine line crack from the top shallow chip to the top of the wire groove. It is hard to determine a depth of the crack but it appears to be shallow. That is the damage report. Overall a great looking threadless insulator. More good news. I'm asking just $385.00 shipping included. PayPal (friend mode) or check. |
