Jim Garrity author of Cross Arms Magazine, a charter member of the NIA, number 44. An early collector of insulators who decided to publish an east coast monthly magazine. A lot of early discoveries in the hobby today were first photographed and illustrated in his magazine. Patents and historical data were his specialty. An easy going guy who could spend hours talking insulators. A pleasure to be around. He was my first contact in the insulator hobby.
