This copy was printed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding. Binding and wear are average for the age but tight and readable. The text is clean and unmarked. There is some wear to cover and edges (not bad for something almost 90 years old!) Chapter topics include: The Founders, Callender's Solid System, The Cable Makers' Association, Overseas, Colliery and Railway Electrification, Submarine Power Cables, Tramways, Overhead Transmission, and Factories.

1868 Senate Bill Formation Of The Mexico And United States Railway Company 8 page Senate document from 1868.

This is a translation of a bill incorporating the Mexico and United States Railroad Company which granted aid for said company to build rail and telegraph lines from the boundary line between Presidio del Norte to the Sea of Cortez with a main line to Mexico City (it is interesting that the Mexican Government hired the United States Railroad Company to build this line).

Document is very clean and not brittle for its age. There is some separation on the bottom of the spine but this is still a very readable piece. A great go with for collectors of Mexican or United States RR collectors or insulator/telegraph collectors.
