This G.N.W. CD 145 is a great colour - more a lavender or purplish hue than the standard steel blue examples that surface often. Some very faint purple wisps are visible in the dome upon very close inspection against a white background. It also has a fantastic vertical amber polywog in the front crown, about 1" long. Good condition apart from a 1/4" impact on the rear lower wire ridge. Additionally, the polywog in the front crown has partially "popped", with a crescent-shaped bruise about 1" by 1/2" being visible protruding from one side of it, but only in certain lighting. When backlit the bruise does not show whatsoever. $40 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
