F.M. LOCKE VICTOR N.Y. / No 21 The "FM" in the embossing here is not blotted out making this a true Fred Locke piece produced around 1904 or earlier. There is some scuffing on the glass surface and one tiny flake on the bottom of the outer skirt but it otherwise has no chips, fractures, or damage to the body of the insulator or the skirts. There is though a weird defect (?) at the entrance to the pinhole where the threads start that looks as if there were projections of glass chipped or broken away after the insulator cooled leaving a bunch of chipping at the start of the threads . This issue does not effect the inner skirt itself. The issue only effects the small flange between the inner skirt and the start of the pin hole. asking $65+ shipping. |
