Pictured is a newly found lightning rod cable conductor support that could be related to the Otis family. The hole in the cable support is the same size as the early small Otis square conductor. It's similar to the W. A. Orcutt 1841 patent where a point was used on the support holder. Could this be used by Otis before his 1851 insulator design and use. It measures 4-1/2 inches in height and 3-1/2 inches across the base.
