This is a question for San Francisco Bay Area collectors or PG&E linemen in that area. Does anyone know anything about this line? These photos are of the last section that runs along Highway 92 from Crystal Springs (near I-280) west to Half Moon Bay. At one time, it also ran along Skyline Blvd (Hwy 35) as far north as San Bruno. Every few years, another section of the line is removed. The largest section was lost with the construction of Interstate 280. Does anyone know the history of this line, or what its original voltage was? Does anyone have an insulator from this line, or know the "M" numbers? Can anyone find the specs or engineering drawings of these old towers? I am looking for ANY trivia or pictures connected with this line. Its been a mystery to me for 40 years.
