This picture was taken in sunlight with a white backdrop and the insulator elevated above a flat surface with a transparent cylinder made from the sides of a 2 liter bottle. Light reflects off of the surface, is transmitted through the glass, and the elevating allows light to enter the bottom of the insulator - just like when holding this insulator in hand. Making ONLY white (ONLY means ONLY) surrounding the insulator in the viewfinder, keeping the base of the insulator PARALLEL to the bottom of the viewfinder, and backing up and zooming in to fill the viewfinder (eliminates distorted profile), makes this type of picture. Again - nothing done to the pic except cropped it!
