This community is in southeast Massachusetts and borders with the Cape Cod Canal. The utility at the time this photo was taken was the Cape and Vineyard Electric Company. They had some rather cool looking lines and this double-circuit transmission pole is a good example. A close view of the top of it follows. In the background are some local distribution lines.
