Insulator D: This heat altered California hoopskirt insulator has all of the classic signs of heat alteration: severely slumped profile, flatten base that is hazy and rough in texture. The heat alteration was severe as both the outer and inner skirts were affected. A crack in the inner skirt also widen with the heat alteration. It is photographed so you may compare them to the dug yellow Cal baby signals in the previous photos. This altered one was purchased at the Springfield Show several shows ago.
