Telephone circuits were strung on CD 152s and 154s (upper two crossarms) with city-owned municipal lines beneath on the lowermost three crossarms employing mostly CD 133s. The latter mostly were H.G. Co. and Hemingrays. Their wires were part of a network connecting fire alarm and police call boxes with local stations.
