Here are three 106s I've picked up in my time collecting, and they span about 40 years of Hemingray manufacturing. From left to right: HEMINGRAY / No 9 // PATENT / MAY 2 1893. Dome: (dot?) HEMINGRAY / No 9 // PATENT / MAY 2 1893. No, there is not THAT much dome glass. It's just the way the glass is warping the perspective. HEMINGRAY - 9 / (Number and dots) // MADE IN U.S.A / 66. This one has a manufacturing date of 1937, and has some slight embossing defects. I may post a picture of them soon.
