By the mid to late 1910s this utility started to use porcelain "hat" style porcelain insulators for new construction, replacements and while performing pole changeovers. The only instance when glass ones were reused was for identifying the town's series street lighting wires and whenever stock/availability for porcelain pintypes was in short supply, especially during material shortages of WW1, WW2 and the Korean War.
