I am a relative "newbie" to the insulator world, but been collecting pretty old glass for 50 years. Here we have an old "one-liner" CD 132/bullet-type insulator that recently surfaced out in Ohio. Insulator remains just the way it was found. Strong aqua colored example is embossed across the front dome on one line just as follows, "PAT.DEC.19.1871". Rear dome is marked with a large, "2". It has a few issues. There's a 1/2" chip/impact at the top of the dome. Also, there's a 1/2" burst bubble along the skirt edge. Lastly, there's a small impact area just above the skirt edge which has caused an approx 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" base edge bruise (no glass missing). Front half of the insulator is covered with a dull patina, probably from laying face down in the damp earth for years. These "one-liners" are difficult to find. My price is $65 plus exact shipping.
