Here is an excellent study of Connecticut Railroads by Gregg M. Turner and Melancthon W. Jacobus, published by the Connecticut Historical Society in 1989. These are getting exceedingly hard to find outside of the state but is the absolute best reference I've ever read. It is loaded with photos and reprints of advertisements and schedules.

The book is 317 pages and the text is clean and unmarked (though is musty from storage). The dustjacket is in poor condition on the back and considerably torn.

100% of the proceeds of this sale will be donated to the Yankee Pole Cat Insulator Club in remembrance of our gracious summer swap host Larry Emmons.

I am asking $35 which includes shipping to your door in the US.
