This is an older promotional piece which features an insulator. Written faintly on the bottom is MFG 1948 by DAN MERCER. This can be used to store change / keys / paperclips, etc. I believe the original purpose was for an ash tray. Measures 6 inches across and 2 .5 inches tall.
