Odd REA line

(Image clipped from Google street view) A representative example of the old Mountrail Electric Coop line running north from Belden towards Stanley. Just like the 69kV line across the road, this line stands out in my mind because it ran for several miles like this, every pole constructed in the 'flat' style without ridge pins. When I saw this line on that summer vacation trip many years ago, there were many poles that were 6' or so taller above the crossarm, which may suggest this line once carried a transmission circuit above the distribution arm.
