The pole in the foreground has a light-colored (painted white?) crossarm on top which likely carried fire alarm box wires. Beneath are electric lighting service lines with the heavier cables on the lowermost crossarm supplying direct current to the transit cars in the area. In the background is what appears to be a telephone subscriber pole with a six-pin crossarm and wooden junction box.
