There are at least three customer services from this pole. One extends downwards (click "Next"); another one is at pole level and the third is strung to upper floor on the right. It is quite interesting that many early-day electric service wires led in around windows as we see here. With the dangers of fire and electrocution quite likely in precarious scenarios like this, there is no wonder that electric wiring codes were established (that was soon after around 1910).
