Here are two purple radio strains on the wire still. The wire is multiple strands and then has some sort of solder (lead?) where it was held together. Each is embossed:

LS BRACH MFG CO / NEWARK N.J. on one end. PAT APLD FOR on opposite end

No chips I can find on either but there is areas of abrasions / wear on each where the wire has rubbed back and forth on the ends. I tried to take pictures from several angles and sides. Based on other pictures I have seen, this would be a nice medium to dark SCA purple for these.
