Here's a new discovery that doesn't come around very often. An unlisted porcelain threadless insulator stamped in green ink: "E.L. I." The "I" mark may indicate roman letter 1. This marking and style is completely unknown, never before seen and definitely not listed in any of the books or NIA website! Was found on its original pin which nearly completely dissolved in less than 24 hours while soaking it to remove pin. Very cool style insulator that has never been seen before. French insulator expert/historian/author Lis Bergman (and I) have never seen this marking or style insulator before.

Measures 1 5/16" base width x 2 3/4" tall. It's in excellent condition with only two teeny match head flakes [id=601003772]. Fixed price of $1750 postpaid (firm price), which can be divided into 3 monthly payments. Thanks!
