Interesting construction with the transformer mounted lower on the pole and crossover crossarms mounted 90 degrees on top for house services, etc. The Edison Electric Illuminating Company of Boston (which Became Boston Edison in 1938) continued with this basic line construction technique for many years later. Note the special crossarms that have their angled pins mounted 45 degrees in them.
