This fixture was made by the Wheeler Reflector Company who had offices in Boston and their factory in Hanson, MA. I grew up with lots of these neat old fixtures, in fact there was one of them in front of the house we lived in, in Brockton, MA, during 1963-1967. I simply loved looking at it at eye-level through one of our second floor windows! All of these lights were street series usually with 1,000 lumen lamps. Many were mounted between only 14 and 16 feet up. That was so cool...I could see all of the reflector and socket detail....sometimes I was able to read the lettering on the end of the lightbulb!
