I'm building a model railroad modeled in the Illinois Chicago land area. I recently found someone on eBay making 1:87 (HO) scale pole lines with CD 303/310, CD 175, and CD 282 insulators. I was going to acquire some of the CD 175's but does anyone know exactly how they were used in service like in a town area? I have a small town on my HO scale layout and I wanted to ask if anyone has any details or photos of how they were used in service that would be fantastic!
