This line ran along coastal towns in Massachusetts towards Plymouth. The railroad was built around 1850 and the telegraph line pararelling it came about a few years later. By the late 1870s or early 1880s the line was rebuilt. New poles were installed on the other side of the track, each having two crossarms and four pins. The insulators on the new line appear to be CD 126s or 127s from other images taken in the area.
