This is one of my newly favorite cleats I recently acquired from fellow collector Ken Willick. The one set is an off white gray and the other is white. He found these on the Victor dump. They have the marking Murdock Patent Apr 17, 1906 and fall under patent number US 818,186. I have made a simple display showing how they would hold the cable. As Ken pointed out the scallops are different widths and lengths so that you could turn them to match up and hold different guages of wire. Very neat.
