Here is a nice piece with lots of character in terms of neat annealing lines. Hemingray / No 38 . (note period after 38) // Patented / May 2 1893 (the 3 is very misshapen and an annealing lines runs right through it). Almost looks like a mold defect or dirty mold was used for the back. The damage consists of some rubbing/staining in the wire groove, and a shallow base flake on the inside of the outer skirt which removes 3 full drip points and 1/2 of 2 other drip points.
