Quite likely fire alarm box lines are on top. Immediately beneath are some electric service circuits on a six pin crossarm. The lower two crossarms appear to be for the trolley line that was in this area. Lighter gauge twisted paired wires were for the trolley company's private telephone system for dispatching. The heavier cables seen were supported by CD 259s carrying DC current for trolley operation. A two-piece transposition is visible on the lower arm making interesting deadends for the two wires strung to it. |
