This and the previous photo I believe were taken during the later 1960s or early 1970s along the main New Haven RR (now Amtrak) route near Stamford, CT.

I believe the units along the catwalk are oil circuit breakers with transformers at ground level on the left. Much of this structure, if not all of it, dates back to the 1910s.
