Here's some cool strains rarely seen or offered. (L to R): Yellow Olive Green Blackglass. Believed to originated from Argentina or Mexico. Displays black but when held to the sunlight one can see dark olive green and amber colorations. Light surface roughness. $60. Next is a Light Aqua embossed SB, indicating made by Santa Barosa in Portugal. This company also made glass telephone insulators with same embossing. Light surface roughness and a teeny nick. tiny flakes next to pontil. $. Next is a fizzy microbubble packed Sage Green strain marked with a backwards G which is partial trademark for Gijon Fabril. This was found in Colombia and believed to have been made by Zicme using very old Spanish antenna strain molds, thus explaining the incomplete embossing (missing the F). A few of these strains were observed in service in the old portion of Bogota'- Colombia's capital city in the early 1990s. Has three teeny flakes. $. Finally, a light straw colored glass strain marked REG. This example was found in Spain. Has two teeny flakes adjacent to the factory ground pontil.
