All of the insulators as well as the pole and crossarms appear to be painted.

The insulator on the far right of the middle crossarm appears to be a CD 266 (No.5 Cable). Both the porcelain (New Lexington) and glass versions of this design were used to a limited degree or perhaps more on Boston's transit power system.
