After reading a fellow Icon posting about the dry spot insulator he had a thought I would post some pictures of the ones in my collection. Please excuse the grainy photos. I have an old camera. Here is a picture of part of my Square D Co. collection showing the dry spot bullet insulators I have. American Electric Co. and then Automatic Electric Co. contracted Square D to produce the U-188's. The white one second in from the right is the rare American Electric Co. version. This is one of my favorite style of insulator. I can remember a pole close to where I lived that had 20 brown ones on it. Unfortunatly I was not able to aquire them years ago.
