A small antique mall we get to 3 - 4 times a year, seldom has anything but we stop in anyway just because you never know. This time one of the stalls had a shelf with 16 insulators, mostly glass, some porcelain. They all had small square stickers on the top with $3. Except for the very blue diamond pony. On it was a long vertical sticker securely taped to the side from the base to the WG. On it was written 'blue glass insulator $3'. I bought three, the orange-olive diamond, an unmarked CP cobalt porcelain signal, and the teal blue, more blue than teal diamond pony --------with a crack from the base to the WG. I don't know who the seller thought he would fool, and I'm sure he thinks he pulled a fast one. For me, I'm not too sure which one is the better deal, but I'm pretty happy. |
