This and the series of photographs I will be sharing with you within this folder are from my former Yahoo Group titled Vintage Insulators.

The group was around for over ten years and there were many photo submissions of cool pole lines and related architecture. The vast majority of these images were taken and submitted by Rick Shields, a good friend from California who enjoys overhead line stuff, vintage street lighting and insulators.

Yahoo pulled the plug on all of their groups (with fair warning) late last year. Before all of the pictures were slated to be gone forever, I saved the ones from my group that were of most interest.

Periodically I will be posting these. Their basic description will be seen in the topic header.
