Mostly signal style insulators up there but who knows exactly what kind they were?? That two-piece transposition looks really nice mixed in on what might be a telephone company circuit. The stenciling on the lower crossarms read: "Brookline Gas Light Co". Not too long after, the electric division of that company became the Edison Electric Company of Boston. In 1938, Boston Edison. It was commonplace for utilities in the early years, especially here in the northeast, to identify their crossarms.
